Frances Alvarez illustrated An Eagle’s Feather while an intern under the Bartels Scientific Illustration Internship Program at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in 2015. Her projects were focused on conservation education materials for children about the critically endangered Philippine Eagle. Frances’ work has been published by Adarna House, Anvil Publishing, The Philippine Star, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), ELLE Decor Philippines, and Summit Media.
